Community Guidelines
These guidelines set the standards expected when using G&G Worldwide community features, member spaces, comments, messages, groups, shared resources and account areas.
Purpose of the community
The community exists to support constructive business discussion, practical learning and professional connection. It is intended to be useful, focused and respectful.
By using community or member features, you agree to follow these guidelines as well as the Terms and Conditions and any rules shown inside the relevant area.
Account responsibility
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. Keep login details secure, use accurate account information and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Accounts and member access are for authorised users only. Do not share login details, impersonate another person, access another account or attempt to bypass access controls.
Professional conduct
- Be respectful, constructive and professional when communicating with other members and G&G staff.
- Keep discussions relevant to the area where they are posted.
- Disagree with ideas without targeting individuals or businesses unfairly.
- Avoid sales pressure, spam, unsolicited promotions or repeated self-promotion unless a space clearly allows it.
Prohibited use
You must not use community or member features to post, upload, send or link to content that is unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, defamatory, misleading, fraudulent or harmful.
- Do not upload malware, scripts, scraping tools or anything intended to disrupt the website or other users.
- Do not infringe intellectual property, confidentiality, privacy, data protection or contractual rights.
- Do not provide regulated advice or imply endorsement by G&G unless we have confirmed that in writing.
- Do not collect information about other users for unsolicited marketing or external databases.
Content, confidentiality and rights
You are responsible for what you post or share. Do not publish confidential, commercially sensitive, personal or third-party information unless you have permission and it is appropriate for that area.
You retain ownership of content you submit, but you allow G&G to host, display, store, moderate, reproduce and process that content where needed to operate the website, community and member services.
Moderation and account action
We may moderate, move, hide, edit or remove content where we reasonably believe it breaches these guidelines, creates risk, affects another user, or is inconsistent with the purpose of the community.
We may warn, restrict, suspend or close an account where necessary for safety, security, legal compliance, non-payment, misuse or repeated breach of these guidelines.
Reporting concerns
If you see content or behaviour that may breach these guidelines, contact us with enough detail for us to review it. We may not be able to share the outcome of moderation decisions with all parties.
Community features are not an emergency reporting route. If there is immediate risk of harm or unlawful activity, contact the relevant authority first.
